We understand that circumstances may change, and we aim to handle all refund requests fairly and transparently.
2. Refund Eligibility
Eligible for Refund
- Services not yet commenced within 30 days of payment
- Services that significantly deviate from agreed specifications
- Technical issues on our end preventing service delivery
- Duplicate payments or billing errors
Not Eligible for Refund
- Services already delivered and accepted
- Custom development work that has been completed
- Third-party costs already incurred (hosting, domains, licenses)
- Services cancelled after work has commenced without valid reason
- Requests made after 30 days from payment date
3. Refund Request Process
To request a refund, please follow these steps:
Step 1: Contact our support team at legal@techabout.com with your order details and reason for the refund request.
Step 2: Our team will review your request within 3-5 business days.
Step 3: If approved, the refund will be processed within 5-10 business days to your original payment method.
Step 4: You will receive email confirmation once the refund has been processed.
4. Partial Refunds
In some cases, partial refunds may be issued:
- When work has partially commenced but not completed
- When some deliverables have been accepted but others have not
- When third-party costs have been incurred but service is cancelled
The partial refund amount will be calculated based on:
- Work completed to date
- Resources already allocated
- Third-party costs incurred
- Administrative processing fees
5. Cancellation Policy
Project Cancellation
- Cancellation before work begins: Full refund minus 5% administrative fee
- Cancellation after work begins: Refund for uncompleted work only
- Cancellation after 50% completion: No refund available
Subscription Cancellation
- Monthly subscriptions: Cancel anytime, no refund for current period
- Annual subscriptions: Pro-rated refund for remaining months
- Enterprise contracts: Subject to contract terms
6. Special Circumstances
We may make exceptions to this policy in the following circumstances:
- Force majeure events affecting service delivery
- Significant changes to our service offerings
- Documented medical emergencies
- Death or incapacitation of the account holder
All exceptions are reviewed on a case-by-case basis by our management team.
7. Refund Payment Methods
Refunds will be issued to the original payment method:
- Credit/Debit Cards: 5-10 business days
- Bank Transfer: 7-14 business days
- PayPal: 3-5 business days
- Other payment methods: As per provider's timeline
If the original payment method is no longer available, alternative arrangements will be made.
8. Dispute Resolution
If you disagree with a refund decision:
Step 1: Request a review by emailing legal@techabout.com with additional information supporting your case.
Step 2: Our senior management will review within 10 business days.
Step 3: If still unresolved, you may pursue mediation or arbitration as outlined in our Terms & Conditions.
